Canada Day celebrations kicked off in the South Peace with a pancake breakfast in Wembley, a parade in Valhalla Centre, and a parade and festivities in the city.

Wembley

Valhalla Centre

The annual Valhalla Centre parade took place at noon. Floats set forth from the Mercantile Cafe to the Valhalla Community School at noon, with eager parade watchers gathering at the school afterwards for hot dogs and refreshments. (Photo by Austin Payeur)
